Description

Italy / Tuscany

The Dievole Chianti Classico 2022 embodies the essence of Tuscany: a deep ruby red, a bouquet of ripe cherries, plums, and violets, complemented by subtle herbal and spice notes. On the palate, the wine is harmonious and smooth, with precise, silky tannins and a lively acidity that carries it through to the long finish.

Origin in Focus

Tuscany

Tuscany is one of Italy’s defining wine regions, known for Sangiovese and iconic appellations such as Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The Mediterranean climate with sea breezes and diverse soils produces elegant, fresh wines with structure. On the coast, ‘Super Tuscans’ are also made from Cabernet, Merlot and other varieties. In addition to red wines, the region offers characterful whites such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Vermentino, as well as the traditional dessert wine Vin Santo. The result: tradition meets innovation – with clear terroir expression and great drinking pleasure.
