Château Talbot 2020

Château Talbot, 4ème Grand Cru Classé from 1855, is one of Saint-Julien’s traditional estates and has extensive vineyards on gravel-rich soils with clay and sand components. This terroir provides ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wines are defined by balanced structure, dark berry fruit, subtle spice and elegant tannin architecture – typical of Saint-Julien, yet with a particularly harmonious, approachable signature. In recent years Talbot has sharpened its precision through modern vinification and careful parcel work without losing its classic style. The result is long-lived, reliable and characterful wine that ranks among the appellation’s most consistent representatives.
