The 2014 Château Pape Clement Blanc shows a noticeable, almost overflowing richness on the nose that actually puts the Magrez-Fombrauge Blanc to shame. Lemon curd and dried honey rise from the glass. The palate is very well balanced, powerful in the mouth, a slight viscosity is added to the finish that fans out with confidence and verve. This wine is absolutely irresistible.
