Château L'Eglise-Clinet used to be overlooked due to its low production, but in recent years it is getting the attention it deserves. Because the talented winemaker Denis Durantou, a direct descendant of the founder, focused on quality and his wines are not only among the best in Pomerol, they are even the ones with the highest average rating in all of Bordeaux. All of Pomerol is the only other wine with a similarly excellent rating is Petrus, which is traded at around eight times the price. At the beginning of 2020, Noémie and Constance Durantou took over the 4.5 hectare winery from their late father. Her first crop seamlessly follows on from her father's success.
