Château Hosanna

Château Hosanna is one of the smallest but most prestigious estates on the Pomerol plateau. With only around 4.5 hectares, it lies next to icons such as Pétrus and Lafleur in one of the most coveted positions of the entire appellation. Its soils consist of clayey gravel with iron-rich inclusions, giving the wines their typical depth, warmth and aromatic intensity.

The high proportion of old Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines is particularly remarkable, bringing enormous concentration, elegance and complexity. Hosanna is managed by the Moueix family team, one of the most important names in Pomerol. Vinification is carried out with great precision and sensitivity, producing powerful, silky and highly characterful wines.

Today, Château Hosanna stands for expressive, dense yet elegant Pomerols with impressive aromatic depth and excellent consistency – a small jewel on a grand stage.

Bordeaux

Origin in Focus

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is one of the world’s most renowned wine regions – a name that has stood for elegance, diversity and ageing potential for centuries. Gravel, clay and limestone soils alternate, allowing fine nuances in the wines that reflect both terroir and craftsmanship.

Bordeaux is typically known for blends in which grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc work together harmoniously.

Stylistically, red Bordeaux wines are defined by a balance of fruit, structure and freshness. The white wines – usually made from Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and sometimes Muscadelle – range from crisp and citrus-driven to creamy and complex.
