Description

France / Champagne / Le Mesnil-sur-Oger

The latest project by Brad Pitt and the Perrin family is called Fleur de Miraval and is the first champagne house to be dedicated exclusively to rosé champagne. For this project they are working together with the renowned champagne producer Rodolphe Péters, who is considered one of the best winemakers in Champagne. This rosé is made using the demanding saignée method, with which the grapes are processed into must in a particularly gentle manner before they are aged in French oak barrels. Both a rarity in Champagne. Only ripe Chardonnay and young Pinot Noir grapes were used for this rosé in order to achieve a balanced elegance and harmony.

Miraval

Château de Miraval has been inextricably linked with art since Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt acquired it in 2008. The property once belonged to the French jazz musician Jacques Loussier, who integrated a recording studio in which, among many famous musicians, Pink Floyd put the finishing touches to their record “The Wall”.

The winery has earned a reputation as a haven for artists and musicians, and its wine production is guided by a spirit of innovation and experimentation. Each bottle of Miraval wine is a work of art that reflects the passion and commitment to exceptional quality.

Winemaking also has a long tradition at Château de Miraval. The vineyards are laid out in striking dry stone terraces that were built in the 19th century. Under the aegis of the top winemaker from southern France, Marc Perrin, the first-class vinified Miraval is produced here, which is one of the best rosés in Provence.
