Description

Italy / Tuscany / Bolgheri

Angelo Gaja, bears the name of his grandfather, who founded the winery in Piedmont in the mid-19th century. When the grandson took over the family business in 1969, he rigorously switched the work in the vineyard and in the cellar to quality. His success proved him right and today he is considered a living legend, with the affectionate honorary title "Angelo nazionale". Since 1996, the cult winemaker has also been cultivating top locations in the Tuscan Maremma. Promoting biodiversity and treating nature with respect is a matter of course for the family, which thinks and acts in terms of generations. Magari is one of the most impressive second wines in the region, especially in 2018.
