Der Grand Vin Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion gehört heute zu den begehrtesten Bordeaux Weine seiner Appellation. Sein Stil unterscheidet sich deutlich von vielen klassischen Pessac-Léognan-Gewächsen. 

Typische Aromen umfassen Schwarzkirschen, Cassis, Veilchen, Kräuter, Gewürze, Graphit und feine Rauchnoten. Hinzu kommen oft florale und würzige Komponenten, die auf den hohen Anteil Cabernet Franc und die Verwendung ganzer Trauben zurückgeführt werden. 

Trotz ihrer Konzentration wirken die Weine bemerkenswert präzise und frisch. Sie verbinden Tiefe und Kraft mit einer außergewöhnlichen Eleganz und entwickeln sich über Jahrzehnte hinweg weiter. 

Neben dem Grand Vin erzeugt das Château mit "Le C des Carmes Haut-Brion" einen Zweitwein, der einen früheren Zugang zum Stil des Hauses ermöglicht. Die begrenzten Produktionsmengen und die hohe Qualität haben dazu beigetragen, dass die Weine heute zu den gefragtesten Premium Weine aus Bordeaux zählen.
