Hubert de Boüard de Laforêt was born at Château Angélus and spent his childhood among the vines. Today he is a winemaker, oenologist, and co-owner of the world-famous Premier Grand Cru Classé family estate.

Hubert de Boüard also serves as a consultant to other wineries in Bordeaux and around the world, exerting his unique influence on the development of some of the world's finest wines. His expertise, dedication, and vision have made him a key figure in the world of Bordeaux wine and cemented his reputation as one of the greatest oenologists of his generation.

He produces only a limited quantity of his own wines to ensure authenticity, and bottles this limited production under his own name.

Each plot is managed so that the surrounding ecosystems are protected and the grapes can be harvested by hand at optimal ripeness.
