Los vinos de Château Haut-Brion
El Grand Vin de Château Haut-Brion se cuenta entre los grandes vinos tintos del mundo. Son típicos sus aromas complejos de grosella negra, ciruela, caja de puros, grafito, cuero, humo y especias. Especialmente característica es la nota ahumada que muchos catadores consideran un rasgo inconfundible de Haut-Brion.
Los vinos poseen una profundidad excepcional y siguen evolucionando durante décadas. Las grandes añadas pueden madurar sin problema durante varias décadas y figuran entre los vinos de colección más codiciados.
Además del Grand Vin, el château elabora «Le Clarence de Haut-Brion», un segundo vino que permite acceder antes al estilo de la casa. Asimismo, el vecino Château La Mission Haut-Brion pertenece a la misma familia propietaria y, junto con Haut-Brion, forma uno de los centros de calidad más importantes de Burdeos.
También merecen especial atención los vinos blancos del château. «Haut-Brion Blanc» se encuentra entre los vinos blancos secos más raros y codiciados de Francia. Su combinación de concentración, frescura y longevidad lo convierte en un icono de la viticultura francesa.
