We are pleased to once again recommend special wines that have impressed us this year. We start with a secret tip from Spain: the Aalto winery.

Aalto's distinctive wines regularly receive top ratings from Robert Parker, who also greatly appreciates the wines personally. However, the exceptionally high quality is not surprising, as Aalto is a project by old master Mariano García, former cellar master of Vega Sicilia. Aalto has already been included twice by the French critics Michel Bettane and Thiery Dessauve in their booklet of the 100 best wineries in the world.

The wines are so sought after internationally that Aalto can choose its partners. Personal contact is very important to the winery: an allocation is only given to those who have visited the winery beforehand. Unfortunately, this was not possible last year due to the situation. That is why we are all the more pleased that through continuous inquiries – we have been in contact with Aalto for a year – we were able to secure an exclusive allocation for you. Initial tastings have shown: it was more than worth it!
