It is the best-known German grape variety, appreciated by wine lovers, loved by sommeliers and exported all over the world: Riesling, the queen of white wines. Every year, the gourmet magazine Feinschmecker chooses the best dry Riesling of the current vintage. A selected expert jury retires for several days to blindly taste hundreds of Rieslings and select the best. The renowned Riesling Cup 2020 went to our friend and winemaker Martin Korrell. With the Paradise Riesling 2019, the exceptional winemaker from the Nahe convinced the jury. As in the previous year, because the Riesling Cup 2019 also went to Martin Korrell. A clear proof of the outstanding quality of his wines, which is maintained at a high level. And a good reason to put together a wine vertical of the Paradise Rieslings. A vertical is a special form of wine tasting. Here the differences between the vintages and the further development of the aromas through bottle aging become clear. The clear signature of the winemaker is clearly visible throughout the vintages. Like the first letter, Korrell stands for classic wines, uncompromising quality and concentration on the essentials. This exciting taste excursion through time can best be experienced when the Rieslings are tasted from young to old.
