The 2011 Unico, released in 2021, 10 years after the harvest, is a concentrated and mature vintage. The wine was aged for 10 years in new and used French and American oak barrels, as well as in 20,000-litre oak barrels. For Vega Sicilia, 2011 was a fresher vintage than 2010. The wine has a developed nose with notes of ripe black fruit, meat and undergrowth, somewhat herbaceous and aromatic.
