The 2014 Lagrange has a conservative, tertiary nose with notes of black fruit mixed with cedar and sandalwood aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins on the attack, with the Merlot component becoming more prominent on the finish, offering a nice, fleshy and confident finish with a hint of black pepper on the aftertaste. A stylish Lagrange, exactly what you would expect.
