The 2014 Pape Clement has a lush bouquet with aromas of red cherry, kirsch, iodine and pastille-like scents, with the oak fully integrating in a few years. On the palate it is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine freshness, quite refined and focused with a noticeable tension on the finish , which offers juicy, tobacco-accented blackberry fruit. This is a lush yet refined Pape-Clement.
