Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Fleur Cardinale explodes from the glass with crushed blackberries, mulberries and chocolate-covered cherries with notes of spice cake, dried herbs and fragrant earth. The palate is medium to full-bodied and wonderfully elegant with soft, round tannins and a strong backbone of freshness , the finish is aromatic.
