Premier Grand Cru Classé

The 2016 Château Figeac reveals deep aromas of plum jam, crème de cassis, black raspberries and star anise with hints of moss-covered bark, truffles and ploughed clay, as well as notes of red currants and raspberry leaves. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is bursting with energy , offering black fruit and mineral/ferrous layers, framed by very firm, ripe tannins and wonderful tension, with a long finish where the spices come through.
