Hubert de Boüard
Hubert de Boüard-de-Laforêt was born at Château Angélus and spent his childhood among the vines. Today he is a winemaker, oenologist and co-owner of the world-famous Premier Grand Cru Classé family winery.
Hubert De Boüard also works as a consultant to other wineries in Bordeaux and around the world and has exerted his unique influence on the development of some of the world's finest wines. His expertise, dedication and vision have made him a key figure in the world of Bordeaux wine and cemented his reputation as one of the greatest oenologists of his generation.
He produces only a limited amount of his own wines to ensure authenticity and bottles the limited quantity under his own name.
Each plot is managed in such a way that the surrounding ecosystems are protected and the grapes can be harvested manually at the best possible level of ripeness.
