The wine opens slowly and shows elegant fruit, sloes, elderberries, mulberries, hints of graphite and cold smoke, cedar wood and dark chocolate in the background. On the palate, a velvety start and yet firm tannins, well structured with very good length and convincing depth , blueberries, pomegranate, liquorice and aromatic herbs.
