Brunello

This is one of my favorite wines from Montalcino. The Casanova di Neri 2016 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova offers a long list of flavors in an ever-changing bouquet. You get bright cherry, rose potpourri, black truffle, caramel, butterscotch, sandalwood, tar, and chalky minerals. In fact, every time I return to this wine, the mineral element seems to increase in intensity and scope
